The Awana Ministry at Parkview helps us partner with parents to teach our children to know and love God. Our curriculum ensures that kids are not only knowledgeable of God's Word, but are able to apply His truth to their lives and face anything as disciples of Christ. 

What is Awana?

Awana (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) is known for leading kids worldwide to know, love, and serve Christ.  For over 60 years, Awana has offered a proven approach of sharing Jesus with children and their communities. The Awana Ministry at Parkview helps us partner with parents to teach our children to know and love God. Our curriculum ensures that kids are not only knowledgeable of God's Word, but are able to apply His truth to their lives and face anything as disciples of Christ. What is the Awana schedule?
Awana classes are held every Wednesday from 5:45-7:00pm on our Lake Jeffery Campus. The Awana Ministry runs during the school year, August through May. 

 

What age does my child need to be?
We have classes for several different age groups.

Puggles: 2 year olds

Cubbies: 3 - 4 year olds (by September 1)

Sparks: Kindergarten - 2nd Grade

Truth and Training (T&T): 3rd - 5th Grade 

 

Are there any costs to participate?
There is a registration fee of $25.00. This includes the child's small-group book and a vest or shirt. Scholarship help is available as needed.
