The Children's Ministry of Parkview Baptist Church exists to partner with parents in encouraging children to believe in Jesus as their Savior, belong to the local body of believers at Parkview Baptist Church, and become Christlike. The safety of our children is a priority at Parkview. Every volunteer that serves in our Next Generation ministries has been screened and trained to ensure our children remain safe. We have a check-in system located at the Children and Preschool welcome desks.
Our Sunday Morning Life Groups provide a small group environment where you can connect with other people. On Sundays, all of our children dig into God's Word through The Gospel Project. The Gospel Project for Kids immerses kids in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission from Genesis to Revelation.
After Life Groups, our children are able to attend our children's worship service at 11:00am in the Clubhouse. Everything they learn during their Life Groups is reinforced during worship service.
During the school year, children can participate in Awana. The name Awana comes from the phrase “approved workman are not ashamed” from 2 Timothy 2:15. In other words: believers are eager to share the good news of the gospel. In Awana Clubs, children age 2 through 5th grade will learn foundational Bible truths and memorize scripture every week. To learn more about Awana, or to register your child, click here.
During the summer months, our children's midweek worship service is held from 6:00-7:00pm.
Our Kids Worship Choir meets during Awana Clubs. If you would like more information, please email Daniel Morris at email@example.com
Vacation Bible School
Every summer, the Parkview Children's Ministry offers a fun-filled week long Vacation Bible School (VBS) for children in kindergarten through 5ifth grade. Our VBS features christian study courses, arts and crafts, and recreational activities to help your child grow in the knowledge and love of Christ. Children come to worship, learn, and play together.
