The Women's Ministry at Parkview is for women of all generations who focus on knowing God through the study of His Word and prayer and who encourage each other to mature in evangelism, discipleship and mentoring, resulting in true biblical community.
“As for us, we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard” Acts 4:20 (NIV).
There are a few different offerings for women's Bible studies offered throughout the week.
Women at Parkview have the opportunity to build relationships through one of three current mission groups that meet monthly.
Mathis Mission Group – These ladies are prayer warriors for missionaries around the world, they share mission programs, and are involved in mission support activities.
Sharon Mission Group – A specific mission action focus each month includes a baby shower for the local Pregnancy Care Center, ice cream social for VA Domiciliary veterans, personalized handmade Valentines for nursing home residents, collections for Christian Service Center, party for CARC group home residents with disabilities, and World Crafts Party supporting victims of abuse and exploitation around our world.
P31 Sisters – For women ages 20-50 focused on mission action as they aim to live by the standards of the virtuous woman described in Proverbs 31.
